The EPIC network

Nottingham City Library service is a member of the European Information Centres (EPIC) network - information outlets run by UK library authorities working together, with the support of the European Commission Representation in the UK, to provide a European information service to their library users.

EPICs aim to:

  • improve access for the general public to EU information at a local level
  • answer queries by drawing on their own expertise and that of other European information providers
  • provide access to official EU publications
  • provide access to a range of free leaflets published by the Commission.
