Where are your customers?
In today's competitive marketplace, the need to market your products and services has never been greater.

Identifying potential customers is not always easy, but one way of taking the hard work out of compiling mailing lists is to let Nottingham City Library's InBusiness team do it for you.

What are the data sources?
We have access to a wide range of company databases (containing data on local, national and international businesses) which are updated continuously.

If you need information on specific companies, we can also provide that as part of our Businessquest service.

What can we provide?
In most cases, data is produced as an Excel file and is either e-mailed or downloaded to disk and posted to the customer.

We can also produce printed lists, sorted in a variety of orders (e.g. A-Z or by number of employees).

What do you need to know?
So that we can provide a list which matches your requirements, you will need to decide on some of the following criteria:

• Where? Options include: postcode, town, county, country or region
  
  
• Size? Options include: turnover(sales) and number of employees
  
  
• Product/Service? Based on Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes. For a complete listing of these see http://www.osha.gov/oshstats/sicser.html
  
  
• How old? Search by year a company started.
  
  
• Other criteria? Options include whether company is quality assessed, their export markets and type of company.

How much will it cost?
We will always give you an exact quote for your list without obligation.

If you wish to amend your search criteria following the initial quote, you may do so without incurring a charge.

Prices start as low as 9 pence + VAT per company. Here are some sample prices:

The quote is based on:

• The number of firms meeting your selection criteria
• The amount of detail required on each company - this can vary from the company name, address and telephone number to extra details on directors, turnover(sales), employees etc.
