What is the Six Book Challenge™?
The Six Book Challenge invites people to read six books whilst supporting them with incentives and creative reading activity. It is delivered through public libraries working with colleges, community learning, trade unions, prisons and other learning providers.
Who is it aimed at?
The Challenge is targeted at emergent readers – adults who can read but who have yet to build on that ability and gain reading experience.
When does it take place?
The Challenge is designed to run from January to May each year.Those who complete the Challenge by the end of May will receive a certificate and can enter a national prize draw as well as free Costa coffee vouchers.
Who is the Challenge run by?
The Six Book Challenge is run by The Reading Agency an independent charity working to get more reading to more people, in association with the Costa Book Awards.
