Location
This is a busy library in Sherwood's lively shopping centre. It is situated on the corner of Spondon Street and Mansfield Road. The entrance is on Spondon Street, with a lift to the library on the first floor.

Sherwood is well served by public transport with services 56, 58, 59, 61, 62, 87, 88 and 89 all running frequently on Mansfield Road.

• Chatterbooks children’s book club: A chance to chat about books you have read and to join in with quizzes and games, on the last Tuesday of the month 5.30-6.45 pm
• Sherwood Library Club: An informal social event for all on the third Thursday of the month. 10.00-11.00 am
• Page turners: An informal group who meet for coffee and to chat about books on the first Friday of the month 6.30-7.30pm
• Baby Rhyme Times: Rhymes and songs for 0-2 year olds every Friday from10.15 - 10.45 am and again from 11.15 - 11.45 am(term time only)
• Under 5s: Stories and crafts every Friday 2.15-2.45 pm (term time only)
