If you want to "chat" with a librarian and ask them a question from your computer, then Enquire is just what you want...and the service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When you use Enquire you will be asked to enter your name, an e-mail address and your question. Within a few seconds you will be "chatting" with a librarian who will ensure that they understand your question and will then try to get you the answer as quickly as possible.

Some questions may take a little longer to answer and the librarian may ask you if it will be ok to e-mail it back to you later.

Librarians from many parts of England, including Nottingham, are taking part in the service, which is being organised by the People's Network (a government-funded body).
