Portland Leisure Centre is a friendly large multi-purpose centre in the Meadows area of Nottingham.  It is situated two minutes walk from the Trent Bridge and is adjacent to Greenfields Community School.  Along with other City of Nottingham Sport and Leisure services, its mission is to inspire more people to be more active, more often.   Portland Leisure Centre works in partnership with community representatives and the City of Nottingham Sports Development Team.

• Swimming Pool: a 30m length pool with pool-side changing cubicles and viewing gallery
• Sports Hall (35m x 20m) with seating for 600 and 1,100 standing
• Ancillary Hall (attached smaller hall with similar flooring)
• Two squash courts with upstairs viewing gallery
• Fully air-conditioned fitness gym supervised by fitness advisors. The gym consists of a wide range of cardiovascular equipment weight training machines
• Dance studio (with mirrors and reactive disco lights)
• Training Suite complete with overhead projector, screen, dry wipe boards and flip chart stands, kitchen and toilet

Exclusive access to the swimming pool, social room, table tennis, squash, badminton, pool, gym and the Nice ‘n’ Easy dance and aerobics session.  

• Sunday morning, for one admission between 8.30am-1pm, 50+ customers can access the general public swimming session, squash, table tennis, gym and badminton.

Associations

Portland Leisure Centre is proud to be the continued venue for the annual Nottingham Varsity Ball, showcasing Latin, Ballroom and Salsa styles of dance.  Portland Leisure Centre is also a training venue for the elite county swimming squad (NOVA Centurion).
