All new Easy Line Gym Equipment at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex

We've recently installed a brand new range of gym equipment called Easy Line..
Easy Line is one of the most modern and user friendly fitness concepts available. The gym equipment uses a hydraulic system of resistance so there are no weight stacks to worry about. This means that anyone can use Easy Line and it’s especially beneficial for children over eight years and older people.
Jenny Knight, Manager at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex said: “You can workout on your own, with a friend or take part in a class with a fully qualified instructor. Whichever way you choose, Easy Line’s a great way to shape up and keep fit. There are a variety of classes available for adults and children including specific 50+ sessions. To find out when classes are available give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.”
The Easy Line gym consists of 12 pieces of resistance equipment, 12 aerobic steps plus an interactive class mentor which provides onscreen exercise techniques, tips and workouts including stretching, boxing and Thai Chi. The Easy Line room is located in the former bar area of Harvey Hadden. The new room has been redecorated and now provides a bright and attractive environment for your workout.

New Stadium up and running
Hot on the heels of the Olympics, Harvey Hadden’s refurbished stadium is open for business.
The new-look stadium is now the premier venue for athletics in the county, following £450,000 improvements. And it is hoped that the superior training surface and improved layout will make a big difference in training champions of the future.
Work started in February2004, financed by the Community Athletics Refurbishment Fund and Nottingham City Council. Improvements have included resurfacing the 1950s seven-lane track, upgrading the area for field events, and providing better facilities for disabled athletes, including dedicated parking spaces, ramps, and a special throwing circle. There is also new floodlighting, and health and safety adjustments to ensure that the stadium meets the full UK Athletics licence requirements. These include moving the jumping area to the outside of the track, away from the throwing area.
The 500 athletes at Notts Athletics Club, which is based at Harvey Hadden, will be among those to benefit from the improved facilities, along with school pupils and youngsters involved in sports development initiatives. It is also hoped that the improved stadium will attract more regional and county athletics events.
