Beechdale is much more than just a swimming centre. It is home to Hoods Hideout Soft Play Adventure Centre, two squash courts and a café. With pool activities to cater for all ages and abilities from parents and toddlers sessions to club sessions and major galas, the centre offers a varied swimming programme for everyone.

• Main 25m pool with timing equipment available
• Spectator seating for 350 people overlooking main pool
• Flume and middle pool

• Diving tank 12m x 12m with moveable floor (0-4m); 3m and 5m boards
• One pool hoist to enable access for people with disabilities to the main and middle pool
• Hoods Hideout soft play adventure centre

• Hoods Hideout

A stimulating play environment for children aged  11 years and under.  Hoods hideout is designed to provide a fun enviroment where children can improve their play skills, co-ordination and balance. Ball pools, slides, climbing ropes and swings over three floor levels all add to the challenge and excitement.

Hoods Hideout, located on the first floor of the centre, is available for casual use, parties and group bookings. Arts and craft sessions are also held. Please contact reception for more details.
