This weekend One City One World brings you Nottingham Pride & the Mela.

Nottingham Pride - 26 July 08

Times: 12noon-6pm

Festival goers can expect a great line up, including live music, drag queens, arts and a variety of stalls. Live performances include:

  • Country music from The Starlings
  • Abba tribute band
  • Stand up comedy from Rosie
  • Indie rock band Ambers Crash Party
  • Pop sensations ‘Billiam’ who are headlining the event.

There is also an on site crèche to keep children entertained during the event.

The Nottingham Mela

Times: 12noon - 6pm

FREE admission

Enjoy this annual celebration of Asian culture in its new home, the Old Market Square and experience live music, dancing, arts and food galore!

Performances include the internationally acclaimed Pratap Pawar and Indian Bathak and African dance from the Triveri Dance Company.

Mela is also a fantastic opportunity for all to experience Nottingham’s up-and-coming artists perform and exhibit their talents.
