Work Experience - your career opportunity

At Nottingham City Council we believe that a great city needs great people who have the skills, commitment and determination to deliver the first class services that enhance everyday lives. As part of this service we believe that it is essential to give people within Nottingham the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills and abilities through a work experience placement.

Nottingham City Council is committed to offering over 300 work experience placements per year, which can range from one day to two weeks in duration. We welcome students and jobseekers from all sections of the community.

We have over 13,000 staff, and over 600 different types of jobs from administration assistants to gardeners to librarians giving students and jobseekers the opportunity of a wide choice of possible work experience placements to choose from.
