Nottingham
City Council is proud to present GEM Employee Awards, where you can
nominate a council worker or service that has made a difference to you or your local area and given
you outstanding customer service. We recognise and value the work of all our employees and the contribution
they make. Your feedback is an important part of this recognition. GEM employee awards are for employees
who Go the Extra Mile in providing services for you.
Here’s
your chance to nominate a person, team or service for giving you outstanding customer service. Nominations
are accepted all year round.
Who can nominate?
Anyone
can nominate employees of Nottingham City Council. However, please
don’t nominate members of your family if they are Nottingham City Council employees.
Our
employees can nominate each other for a GEM award through another scheme run within the Council.
How
can I make a nomination?
It’s easy – all you have to do is tell us about
the customer service you have received and why it is outstanding, click here to fill in

Who
is on the judging panel?
The judges will include a member of the public,
a representative of a partner organisation (outside Nottingham City Council) and from Nottingham City
Council a councillor, a director and a human resources consultant.
How
will the winners be awarded?
We will choose three finalists from all
the nominations received, selected on the basis of who has made the greatest difference to you, your
local area or community through outstanding customer service. Finalists will be invited to an event
to thank them for their work in improving the service you receive.
