PATRA offers training schemes to men and women from ethnic minority groups. Initially the placement is on a 3 month trial basis leading to a year contract. The training place consists of a work placement of 4 days a week, day release at college or university to enable trainees to gain a nationally recognised qualification. Trainees receive a tax free monthly allowance, paid directly into their bank account.
