Mar 08 - Revised Accreditation Procedure 2008
It is proposed to adopt a revised accreditation process, for future accreditations and re-accreditations of SP service providers in the City, as appropriate. December 07 - Mental Capacity Act 2005 – Information for Service Providers
The documents below provide information for service providers on the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and how it impacts on organisations working with vulnerable people.
The Supporting People Team is liaising with HLG about an information session for managers of Supporting People services, proposed to be arranged for the New Year. Further details will be made available through HLG (www.hlg.org.uk) and the SP website when this is arranged.
December 07 - Revised Options Appraisals Timetable
A revised timetable for Options Appraisals taking place in 2008/9 is now available. The revised timetable aims to improve the effectiveness of the process and deliver more strategic outcomes. The letter detailing the changes as well as the timetable itself are available to download below.
December 07 - Tender for Handypersons Service
Supporting People are tendering for an experienced support provider to manage the delivery of a low level, one off maintenance service to be delivered in Nottingham City, for disabled people and people aged 60+.
This tender is being conducted as a two stage procedure, and providers must meet the requirements of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) in order to be invited to tender for the service. For further information on the service and details of how to request a PQQ , please click here. The deadline for return of the PQQ is noon on Friday 11th January 2008
December 07 -Homeless Review - Service Users' Feedback
As part a recent review into Homelessness in Nottingham, a questionnaire was circulated to users of homlessness services in Nottingham to find out their views on the services they have received.
Results received have now been collated and used to produce a leaflet to give feedback to service users. Click here to go to the Service Users' Area, where a copy of the leaflet is available to download.
December 07 - Service User Logo Competition
A competition is being held to come up with the design for a new logo which will be used to show where service users have been involved in the development of services and to represent service users in Nottingham as a group.
The competition is open to all people who receive housing related support in Nottingham. Please note that the deadline for the return of entries is now the 7th January 2008.

November 07 - Standardised Training for Service Providers
Work is starting on the development of a standardised training programme for providers of Supporting People services, to help promote consistency in the quality of service provision in the City.
