This service is now provided by Nottingham City Homes. It is concerned with providing accommodation for people over the age of 60 (usually). Most of this accommodation is in 1 or 2 bedroom flats and occassionally in bunaglows.

There are 68 complexes across the City. Each Sheltered Housing Complex has a designated Warden whose main aim is to promote independent living and support for older people. This involves monitoring health, care and social needs and helping residents who want to take part with social activities. 24-hour emergency cover is provides by Care Alarms installed in all these properties.
