Nottingham City Homelessness Review 2007
The Nottingham City Homelessness Review 2007 is intended to provide as complete a picture as possible of the extent and nature of homelessness in Nottingham. The review which is an integral part of the development of the 2008-13 Homelessness Strategy has been produced in accordance with guidelines set out in the Homelessness Act 2002.
The development of the Homelessness Review was overseen by a steering group of the multi-agency Homelessness Strategy Implementation Group (SIG). The steering group have provided advice and assistance to officers from the Nottingham City Council Housing Support Strategy team regarding:
- Collection and analysis of statistical information.
- Consultation with stakeholders and services users regarding current position of provision, gaps and future demand.
The 2007 Homelessness Review will provide the evidence base for establishing priorities for the 2008 -13 Homelessness Strategy, within the context of national, regional and local policy drivers and initiatives.
Stakeholders' feedback taken from the Homelessness Review Event held on the 11th September 2007 can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
As part of the Homeless Review, a questionnaire was circulated to users of homelessness services in Nottingham to find out their views on the services they have received, and also what they think could have helped prevent them from becoming homeless.
