The
City Deaf Team provides support to profoundly deaf or deafened people of all ages from different cultures
and backgrounds.
We undertake a range of social work tasks
including
assessments of need, family support and child protection. We provide specialist homecare workers to
support deaf people in their homes.
The team
works with a variety of Deaf people including:
Deaf People of all races
Deaf
children and their families
Deaf people with mental health needs
Deaf
parents and hearing children
Deaf people with other disabilities
Deaf
adults and their families
Deaf older people
Deafblind people

office to see a social worker any Tuesday morning between 9am and 12 noon.
