Up to date technical and survey information will be produced to support the preparation of planning documents in the Local Development Framework.  It is intended to gather this in-house where possible. However, consultants may be used in some specialist areas.

This technical and survey information will be particularly important in the preparation of the Core Strategy and the Site Specific Land Allocations and Policies.

CLG Publications

The department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) formerly titled the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) is the government department that is responsible for planning at a national level.
