Students may apply for transport between home and college where, due to disability, he or she is:-

• Unable to walk, or
• Unable to travel safely to college unaccompanied, or
• Unable to use public transport for a single journey, or
• Unable to use public transport where a change of bus is required

Students should normally be receiving the Disability Living Allowance mobility component.

Application forms for special transport are held by the Special Needs Coordinator at each college (Form ST1).

The transport is organised by Neighbourhood Services.
