One of the City Council’s best kept secrets. The Community Wardrobe has developed out of partnership working, collection gathering and resources developed since 1988. It is possibly the biggest collection of theatrical costumes in the East Midlands with over 25,000 costumes, and is for hire particularly to community groups and schools as well as amateur and professional theatre companies,
Those dressing "in borrowed robes" (our customer base!) currently come from across the Midlands and from Yorkshire to Northants. We have a particular expertise in working with children and young people, teachers in Schools and amateur drama groups but everyone is welcome.
We pride ourselves on our friendly service and if we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can point you in the direction of other providers in Nottingham.
So that Vicki & Sarah can give you the best personal service for you and/or your group, please telephone for an appointment.
