Central EIP

Central Education Improvement Partnership was formed in 2006 and aims to work in partnership with schools, families and the local community to raise standards and achievement, and provide an improved experience of education for children and young people.

The EIP works via a number of operational strands which in themselves have a number of projects running within them:

  1. Management and co-ordination
  2. Transition and attendance
  3. Curriculum enrichment
  4. Parental engagement
  5. Extended schools
  6. In-school co-ordination
  7. Integrated service delivery

Central EIP has recently been awarded £357,335 from the Big Lottery Family Learning Fund for the Supporting Our Families in Education (SOFIE) Project which will assist with parental engagement.
