Bulwell EAZ is the local Education Improvement Partnership in and around Bulwell, aiming to raise standards in education and improve outcomes for children, young people and their families. Based at River Leen School, Bulwell EAZ is part of the City-wide EIP Strategy and locally benefits from effective relationships with a range of partners and organisations.
Projects include:
- Working with many partners, including Bulwell Community Toy Library, Sure Start Children’s Centre, Play, Youth, Sport to develop the Extended School agenda.
- Key Stage 2/3 Transition project providing dedicated support to pupils transferring to secondary school including weekly visits to primary school in summer term, home visits, transfer of information to give the pupils the best possible start in Year 7.
