What is the Children & Families Information Service and what can it do for you and your family ?

The Children & Families Information Service is operated by Nottingham City Council Children's Services. We offer free, impartial & confidential advice to parents and carers in Nottingham City across a range of subjects affecting children and young people. Some of our main areas of work are:

• Helping you find good quality, affordable Childcare close to your home or near where you work.
• Find a FREE Nursery places for your 2, 3 or 4 yr old.*
• Find your nearest Sure Start Children’s Centre.
• Operate www.services4notts.gov.uk website which lists hundreds of services for children, young people and families
• Family Support Information such as advice & signposting onto services for children with additional needs.

Click on the area where you live to search for childcare.  Some childminders are not listed because of data protection issues - call us on freephone 0800 458 4114 and we can do a customized search.

Click on www.services4notts.gov.uk the online directory for services for Children & Young People. The site currently has over 500 services listed across the Greater Notts area aimed at children, young people and families.
