Aspley Ward

Nottingham City Council is a democratic organisation, with 55 councillors representing electors in the 20 electoral wards in the City of Nottingham. There is a local election every four years when all 55 seats are contested. Councillors hold regular surgeries in their constituencies to which members of the public are invited to attend if they have a particular concern which they feel their local councillor can help them with. Times, dates and venues of ward surgeries are listed here.

Aspley Ward

The Aspley Ward runs from Melbourne Road up to Broxtowe Country Park and stretches from Nuthall Road to the right hand side Aspley Lane as you are coming from town, and incorporates 3 distinct communities that are represented by most of the Aspley area, the Bells Lane Estate and the Broxtowe Estate.  The area includes Quarry Holes Plantation, Bells Lane Community Centre, The Hope Centre and Sixways Community Centre.  There are 4 schools within the area, they are: Rosslyn Infant and Rosslyn Junior and Ambleside Infant and Ambleside Junior.  There is the Aspley Media and Training Centre at Minver Crescent and now the new Sports Centre soon to be opened for community use on Minver Crescent.
