Our Performance
The Best Value Performance Plan sets out our ambition, vision and priorities for the coming years and gives a review of our performance in the last financial year.
Our Annual Report, Target, was sent to all Nottingham residents and summarises how we performed in the 2005/06 financial year.
Assessment
As well as constantly checking our own performance, we are rigorously assessed by independent external bodies.
The Audit Commission coordinates the Comprehensive Performance Assessment.
Corporate Improvement Programme
'Serving Nottingham Better' is our aspiration. This is also the name of our Improvement Programme targeting areas that our customers have told us are important to them.
Our Priorities
By listening to local people we make sure that our priorities reflect the needs of our diverse communities.
Our vision is for 'a safer, cleaner, ambitious Nottingham - a city we're all proud of'.
Our priorities for Nottingham:
- People feel safe in their communities
- Improved educational attainment
- More local people being economically active
- A cleaner city
Our plans for the next five years are presented in the Corporate Plan 2006-2011 which is aligned to our Local Strategic Partnership's Plan for Nottingham ‘One Nottingham-One Plan’.
