Previous Occupation: Tobacco Worker, Imperial Tobacco, retired May 2003.
I was born in Lenton Abbey, raised in Nottingham and educated at Cottesmore School.
I enlisted into the army in the 1960's, firstly the territorial army and then in the regular army. E Battery 1st Regiment, The Royal Horse Artillery.
On entering civilian life I joined John Rayer and Son.
