Nottingham City Council is a democratic organisation, with 55 councillors representing
electors in the 20 electoral wards in the City of Nottingham. There is a local election every four years
when all 55 seats are contested. Councillors hold regular surgeries in their constituencies to which
members of the public are invited to attend if they have a particular concern which they feel their
local councillor can help them with. Times, dates and venues of ward surgeries are listed here.
Radford and Park Ward
If you look up from the City (looking in the direction of the St
Barnabas Cathedral on Derby Road) our ward includes – all of Derby Road in the City centre and just
the right had side once you get to Lenton, all of Ilkeston Road and the left hand side of Alfreton Road
plus everything in between falls into Radford and Park. Our Ward stops just before Bobbersmill
Bridge. We also have the Park Estate.
Basically the triangle of Derby Road on one side and Alfreton Road
on the other from the City centre until Bobbersmill Bridge is within our Ward.
