Corporate Plan for 2008-2011
A ‘refreshed’
Corporate Plan for 2008-11 has recently been approved by the Council’s
Executive Board, and renamed the Council Plan.
In 2006 the Corporate Plan was
published covering the period up to 2011. Since then there has been much change. Although the five themes
of the plan:
- Choose Nottingham
- Respect for Nottingham
- Transforming Nottingham’s Neighbourhoods
- Supporting Nottingham
People
- Serving Nottingham Better
have remained unchanged
we now have six new highest priorities to help us meet the challenges that have arisen since 2006.
It
also outlines the Council’s vision and commitment to improving all services through Serving Nottingham
Better.
The Council’s own vision for our contribution is unchanged; we’re
determined to create a safer, cleaner, ambitious Nottingham – a city we’re all proud of.
Not
every priority or activity of the Council can be described in detail in the Council Plan. It describes
our most important priorities and the themes around which we organise our work. The Plan also spells
out some of the performance indicators and other measures that we will use to be sure we are making
the right progress.
The plan will be revised next year to reflect how we will
contribute to the 2030 vision.
