Aim of the Group:

“To ensure that the needs of the community are incorporated throughout the design, construction, service and development of the Bulwell Joint Service Centre.”

Objectives

To provide a forum to facilitate:

• Two way communication between the local community and the Joint Service Centre, Project Team and Management
• To provide the management with the views of the local communities and ensure that they form the basis of service development
• To provide a community and management forum that will explore ways of improving services and make recommendations to the appropriate bodies
• To promote the Joint Service Centre within the local community
• To undertake surveys and promote methods of participation and involvement which enables review, feedback and recommendations which form the tangible basis for future development
• To ensure traditionally ‘hard to reach groups’ are involved and participate, using various consultative methods
