Our performance and standards
Trading Standards' Performance We want to provide the best possible standard of service to our customers, both consumers and businesses. By following the links on the right, you can read more about our plans and priorities, find out what our customers think of our services and see more about our performance. Costs The net service costs for 2006-07 were £1,105,020. The 25.5 full-time equivalent staff account for costs of £743,770. The rest of the expenditure goes on equipment and supplies, testing and sampling of consumer goods, reference books and other materials, transport, phones, computer equipment, software support and internal expenditure to other City Council services which support us.
