Nottingham City Council is offering local Businesses the chance to join the East Midlands Business China Bureau market visit to Shanghai and Ningbo this October - between 20 - 24 October 2008.

As the commercial, financial, and industrial centre of China, Shanghai has maintained its GDP growth rate at 2 digit figures for 13 successive years. Its key industries include IT, automotive, chemicals and biopharmaceuticals, and its finance, insurance, transportation, telecommunication, retailing and wholesale sectors are also growing rapidly. Ningbo is a major port for international trade, and is also an important manufacturing base for automotive, papermaking and textile goods.

East Midlands China Business Bureau (EMCBB) are offering a support package including £750 subvention for eligible companies and assistance from their China Business Advisors throughout. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
