Set up in 1993 - The Nottingham Ambassador scheme aims to utilise local companies and organisations to promote and sell Nottingham through their own networks. The scheme has a membership of nearly 600 drawn from the key decision makers of successful local businesses and representatives from the education sector, the media, leisure and retail operators.

All our Ambassadors are a team who are firmly committed to spreading the word about Nottingham and are undeniably dedicated to investing in our City.

The Ambassador Unit facilitates a calendar of monthly events including business briefings and development updates to provide our members with privileged, up to date information and knowledge enabling them to promote and raise the City's profile. Ambassadors will often host these events at their own premises.

The events programme also provides great business networking opportunities for members. The popularity of the programme is demonstrated by the continually high attendance at events, many of which are fully booked within days. Please see the Ambassadors' diary of events.
