The New Art Exchange is Nottingham’s new contemporary visual arts centre led by African, African Caribbean and South Asian artists – the only one of its kind outside London. Designed by architects Hawkins\Brown, the eye-catching dynamic building will boast public galleries, workshop, performance and meeting rooms, and a café.
Funding for the new building came from the European Regional Development Fund, Arts Council England, East Midlands Development Agency, New Deal for Communities and Nottingham City Council.
Easy to get to, New Art Exchange is located on Gregory Boulevard (the A6130) in Hyson Green, and right on the tram route (The Forest stop), with parking close by.
New Art Exchange has a year round programme of inspiring and diverse events and activities showcasing a wide range of local andinternational artists.
New Art Exchange is open to everyone, offering events and activities to support the “exchange” of arts and culture all under one roof.
