The partners of the EUROPOLIS project are medium-sized cities and national and regional regulatory authorities, who starting from concrete urban interventions, pool their regulatory instruments and their operational approaches of sustained monitoring of urban development.

The 14 partners, which include Nottingham, have established an action platform of medium-sized cities and national and regional regulatory authorities to consider the sustainable control of their urban development : in the new European context, new regulatory instruments have become necessary in order to give greater coherence to development processes over wider areas.
