An officer from the Health and Safety Enforcement Section will carry
out an inspection of the premises to be licensed or registered and will discuss the standards with the
applicant which must be met. These will cover practices and procedures (copies of procedures can be
obtained from our Licensing Section). Advice and information on standard conditions can also be provided

Licensing Act 2003 Guidance
The Health and Safety and Food Safety teams have issued guidance
for applicants applying for licences under the Licensing Act 2003. The purpose of the guidance
is to assist applicants in complying with the requirements of those teams.
