NCSCB run a full programme of safeguarding and child protection training and seminar events.  The experience gained by professionals in learning and working together, will succeed in bringing about mutual understanding and greater ability to combine skills in the interest of working in partnership with each other and families.  The Training Programme and Seminar Programme for 2008 - 2009 is now available through this website.  To apply to our courses please find the training application form at the back of the current training programme and submit to the NCSCB Training Administrator

The new NCSCB Training Programme for 2008-2009 is now available for downloading . This details all courses the NCSCB are running for the new training year. To apply for a course complete the application form contained within and return to the NCSCB Training Administrator.

A programme of Child Protection Networks  has been organised to run in each locality of the city between now and the end of the year.  Networks are information sharing events to keep staff and volunteers up to date.  this could be locality or neighbourhood based information, e.g.child protection statistics for your area or key themes emerging in specialist areas of work, such as faith and ritual based abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, missing children and vulnerable groups such BME, asylum seeker/ refugee and disabled children.  These meetings are free to attend.
