Nottingham City Council's Children's Services has 120 schools across its city boundaries. In addition to this there are 7 Education Bases / Pupil Referral Units.

Our 120 schools divided up as follows :

• 3 Nursery schools
• 16 Infant schools (of which 12 have a nursery attached)
• 15 Junior schools
• 62 Primary schools (of which 36 have a nursery attached)
• 18 Secondary schools (including 1 City Academy, 1 Catholic, 2 Church of England, 1 Foundation and 1 female-only school)
• 6 Special schools

Five of our Secondary schools have sixth form colleges. These are:

• Bluecoat (The) Vol. Aided Comprehensive / Technology College
• Djanogly City Academy
• Greenwood Dale Comprehensive
• Nottingham Emmanuel School
• The Trinity Catholic Comprehensive

All our schools are mixed sex schools, with the exception of Manning Comprehensive, this is an all-girls school.
