Information about the Park
The Arboretum is set in the heart of the city for all to enjoy.  Come along and take a stroll in the tree-lined walkways, see the newly-restored features, or just take some time out away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Take a look at the birds in the aviaries and see the beautiful flowerbed displays.  Feed the ducks and seek out a host of wildlife found in this city haven.

Just take a walk or enjoy a picnic in the park.  Follow the tree trail and learn about the plants to be found around the Arboretum or simply enjoy some time to yourself.

The Arboretum hosts a series of events throughout the year including festivals, bands in the bandstand, guided walks and talks.

There are bands and entertainment moslty from the end of May through to September.

All events are free and will hopefully appeal to a wide audience.
