News about the area / what’s on etc
We have drawn up a Local Community Plan by bringing together the views and aspirations of public, private and voluntary sector agencies, local councillors and residents. The plan aims to improve all aspects of community life including the safety of people and their property, cleanliness, health and well-being, education and employment opportunities, business growth, the standard of housing, and the choice and quality of leisure activities. It represents a real commitment by local providers of services to work together to achieve this by making a real improvement in the quality of services and facilities, as well as establishing additional services and resources in the area.
We are currently co-ordinating the implementation of these projects.
