Passengers travelling on NET between Saturday
24th May and Monday 26th May 2008 are advised that tram services between The Forest and Station Street
will be replaced by buses, whilst a section of track near The Royal Centre stop is replaced.
Trams
will operate as normal from Hucknall and Phoenix Park towards the City Centre, but will terminate at
The Forest Park and Ride Site, where replacement buses will operate for passengers to complete their
journeys.
Levels of service will operate as follows:
- Saturday
24th May: Saturday tram timetable with replacement buses operating every 5 minutes at peak times
(08:00 until 18:00) and every 10 minutes before 08:00 and after 18:00 until approx. Midnight.
- Sunday
25th May: Sunday tram timetable with replacement buses operating every 8 minutes at peak times
(10:00 until 18:00) and every 15 minutes before 10:00 and after 18:00 until 23:00
- Bank
Holiday Monday 26th May: Sunday tram timetable with replacement buses operating every 8 minutes
at peak times (10:00 until 18:00) and every 15 minutes before 10:00 and after 18:00 until 23:00
The
last replacement bus from Station Street will depart slightly earlier than the normal last tram. The
last bus will be at 23:52 on Saturday (Midnight from Beastmarket Hill) and at 23:20 on Sunday and Bank
Holiday Monday. Passengers travelling to Bulwell and Hucknall are advised to catch the 23:42 replacement
bus from Station Street on the Saturday, to make the connecting tram.
