Nottingham City Council is proud to provide residents and visitors
with a brand
new purpose built Trinity
Square car park – with a very special guest being the first visitor.
Ideally
located in the heart of Nottingham’s City Centre the car park is conveniently located for work, sightseeing
or for people doing their Christmas shopping.
The first visitor to the
car park was Santa when he visited Nottingham last month to take advantage of the convenient
parking and Nottingham’s large variety of shops.
Santa arrived at
Trinity Square car park on a super-charged motortrike carrying Rudolph and a Christmas
Elf in the back seats. Our bad ass Santa wasn’t interested in cutting a ribbon to officially open Trinity
Square car park. Instead he cruised up North Church Street before turning towards the car park entrance,
revving his engine and crashing through a paper screen to be the first vehicle to enter the car park.
The
car park is open 24 hours a day and provides 450 parking spaces (120 more spaces than the old Trinity
Square car park) and dedicated parking for blue badge holders.
There
are also new fully accessible toilets open from 7am until 8pm on the first floor with disabled
facilities.
The car park also has improved safety measures such as high lighting standards and digital CCTV.
