There’s still time to purchase tickets for the
Latin event of the
season - Newstead Abbey’s fantastic Latin Party in the Park! Taking place for
one night only on Sunday 10 August, the atmosphere at the beautiful historic site is set to be electric.
The beats and rhythms of Cuba will flow through the grounds of Lord Byron’s ancestral home as the fabulous
live band Cache take to the stage.
Newstead Abbey
invites everyone to come along and feel the intoxicating latin beats – from professional dancers to
those who just want to ‘have a go’ this event is for them. And dancing isn’t compulsory! Those wanting
to sit back, relax and enjoy the music are promised a fabulous summer evening of entertainment.
Led by charismatic Cuban singer Felix Gonzalex, Cache is
sure to delight the crowds. In the Abbey’s sumptuous grounds this lively band will perform all the different
rhythms that make up salsa - mambo, rumba, cha-cha, meringue and bolero.
Audience members are encouraged to make the most of their evening – and Newstead’s
stunning surroundings, by bringing a picnic, a glass of something chilled and of course their dancing
shoes if required!
Tickets are just £12 when purchased in advance or £14 on
the night. They can be purchased by calling the Royal Centre Box Office on 0115 989 5555 or Nottingham Tourism
Centre on 0844 477 5678 (subject to booking fee). Alternatively they can be purchased
from Newstead Abbey’s A60 gate during normal opening hours and at the event itself.
