Nottingham City Council’s outdoor theatre season
kicks off at Nottingham Castle next Saturday 14 June, when Heartbreak Productions invites
families to escape to Neverland to discover the story of the boy who never grew up. JM Barrie’s timeless
classic Peter Pan will be a magical show audience members from 5 to 95 years old
will enjoy.
Join Wendy, John and Michael as they embark on their journey
into Peter Pan’s world. Meet his friends, the Lost Boys, see Tinker Bell and shout ‘I believe in fairies’
and watch as Peter brings the dastardly villain Captain Hook to justice.
Take
part in the adventure – an energetic and riveting experience is guaranteed! An unforgettable concoction
of fantasy, magic, humour and sinister villains provides entertainment for all in this exciting family
show.

Productions cast turn the stunning grounds of Nottingham Castle into their own playground of fun!

Peter
Pan is the first in a series of outdoor theatre performances at Nottingham Castle. The season
continues on Saturday 28 June with Brandon Thomas’s world famous farce Charley’s Aunt.
Heartbreak Productions, who are renowned for producing Shakespearean plays in a contemporary setting,
will also perform Henry V and A Midsummer’s Night Dream.
In addition, nationally acclaimed local theatre company Oddsocks will return to
perform Much Ado About Nothing in their unique inimitable style.
