As part of the improvement works to Bulwell Town Centre, Bulwell Market changed shape on Tuesday, 18th March.

A new stall layout was introduced to improve access to all areas of the market as well as access between the Town Centre and the Rail, Tram and Bus Stations. A 4.5 metre wide aisle now runs through the centre of the market with 2.5 metre wide aisles on either side.

Neil Ehrhart, Markets and Fairs Service Manager said: "The new and improved layout will bring a number of benefits, such as improved access to transport services, whilst keeping all the colour, sights and sounds of the traditional market. There are over 60 stalls offering a wonderful selection of goods for sale from well known market traders who bring over 400 years combined experience of market trading to Bulwell."

The general retail market at Bulwell operates on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a second-hand Flea Market on Wednesdays. There is still some space available on all market days for new traders selling goods not already available on the market.
