Nottingham City Council recycling staff will be out and about on Saturday
to spread the word about the new recycling options being made available to residents in parts of the
Sneinton, Radford and Arboretum areas.
Around 11,000 homes in these areas
will soon be able to start recycling food waste and glass in addition to paper, card and plastic. Residents
in the pilot areas will be visited by recycling staff to find out what can be done to help people recycle
more.
There will also be a chance to meet recycling
staff at Sneinton Market on Saturday June 14 from 10am until 1pm and then in Radford on Independent
Street from 1.30 until 4pm.
The new food caddies
will be demonstrated and advice given for those with recycling queries.
