Churches in Radford are doing their bit for Nottingham
City Council’s Big Spring Clean campaign by litter picking on their Good Friday Walk of Witness.
On
Friday March 21 all the churches in Radford will be helping out with the litter pick in response to
the Hope 2008 initiative for churches in England to bless their community. They will be starting at
10am from the Evangelical Church on St Peter Street and concluding at St Peters Church on Harley Road.
The
clean up is part of the City Council’s Big Spring Clean campaign which runs throughout the city until
March 28 and aims to demonstrate what can be achieved when schools, businesses, students, and local
communities come together with the joint aim of making the city a cleaner place for everyone.
