Hadden Park High School, Glenbrook Primary and Nursery School and the Bilborough Children’s Centre are closed today and tomorrow (Tues and Wed, Apr 29 and 30) after vandals damaged water pipes on the site.

The schools and Children’s Centre were closed yesterday after a water leak flooded playing fields and left all the buildings without water. Workmen repaired the pipes yesterday but overnight vandals broke into the site and smashed the pipework resulting in another loss of water supply.

Parents should listen to local radio or contact the school in the morning to find out if the schools and children’s centre will be open tomorrow. (Wed).
