Community Learning

Family Learning supports parents, grandparents, carers and other family members to be an active part of their children's learning.

Family Learning is delivered in schools, children's centres and community venues across Nottingham. It is a fantastic opportunity to discover what your child is learning in school and to develop your own skills to support them.

It is also a great way to make new friends, share experiences and improve your own learning.

Your Family Learning tutor will always try to make your learning experience fun and informative, with many activities relating to everyday experiences.

Learning always takes place in a safe and supportive environment to ensure you feel comfortable and confident to express yourself. You will be actively supported throughout your learning journey and offered guidance on education and career progression opportunities.

We also offer additional support and crèche provision at no extra cost.

Learner View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your further education and skills provider.

Learner View asks for your opinion on a range of 10 aspects: from whether the lessons/training sessions are well taught to if you would recommend the provider to a friend. Ofsted will use the information you provide to make decisions about which providers to inspect, and when.
