Attractions

No visit to Nottingham is complete without a trip to Nottingham Castle and the famous Robin Hood statue, but there are lots of other things to see and do as well. Grab a coffee in the cosmopolitan Old Market Square or head out of the City Centre to Wollaton Hall - a magnificent Tudor house set in acres of beautiful park land. Getting here

We're conveniently situated at the heart of the UK, with excellent air, rail and road links:

By road: The proximity of the M1, A1, A52 and A46 means the county is easily accessible by car. The City is equipped with ample parking and an excellent public transport system.

By rail: Speedy trains from Nottingham go to much of the UK with services leaving for London every hour (journey times from 90 minutes). To plan your journey and book tickets visit the East Midlands Trains website.

By air: We're served by two airports: East Midlands Airport brings south Nottinghamshire within easy reach of Scotland, Ireland and the rest of Europe's major cities. And Robin Hood Doncaster Airport is ideal for accessing the north of the county.
