King George V Playing Fields
A popular Green Flag award winning local park which provides an attractive large open space in which to exercise and relax which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
The site has seen recent improvements with new footpaths, bins and benches. The site also has new play and sport equipment and facilities aimed at young people for football, basketball, cricket and netball along with a fitness station and play items. With the support of the Friends Group a new exciting playground is being designed to replace the existing one on site.
