Frequent bus services to Goose Fair

Industrial action has been called by the GMB union on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October. This will significantly disrupt tram services from the city centre, Hucknall and Phoenix Park & Ride to Goose Fair. A replacement bus service from Phoenix Park will be operating and a reduced shuttle tram service between Wilkinson Street and the Forest will hopefully be running.

Goose Fair 2009

It is recommended that people use the many bus services to get to and from Goose Fair instead of using the reduced tram service.

A special Eventlink bus runs every 6-7 minutes from Queen's Drive Park & Ride. On Saturday services will run from 12pm to 11:45pm.

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) buses operate every 2-5 minutes during the daytime and up to every 7-8 minutes in the evenings between the city centre and Mansfield Road Forest Gate.

For Goose Fair use:

-     Brown Line services 15, 16, 17 from Milton Street (outside Waitrose)

-     Lime line services 56, 58, 59 from Upper Parliament Street (outside Spa)

-     Yellow Line services 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 from Milton Street (outside TK Maxx)

-     Purple Line 87, 88, 89 from Parliament Street (near Burger King).

With the Group Rider ticket at £6, up to 5 people (minimum 1 adult, maximum 2 adults) can travel all day on any NCT bus. The normal 9:45pm restriction on children's fares will also be removed during Goose Fair.

Hyson Green is served by the daytime Yourbus services 81 & 82 via ASDA. This finishes approximately between 6 - 6.30pm.

Trentbarton buses run along Mansfield Road via Goose Fair from Victoria Centre and Parliament Street.  These are the Calverton Connection, Pronto, 141 and Rainbow 3 services.
